Rick acquired the agency in 1977, and since then has continued to build an environment that provides exceptional service and quality insurance products. He believes the success of the Clark-Theders Insurance Agency is due to the great group of associates who genuinely care for the agency’s clients. As Chairman, Rick still enjoys visiting one-on-one with customers and addressing all aspects of their insurance needs. He also likes helping clients at the time of claim with unmatched personal attention that exceeds their expectations.
Since the CTIA Cares committee formed, his favorite outreach program was working with the Mount Healthy Alliance, assisting them with their food pantry project.
Jonathan is always ready for the challenge. Since joining his father’s agency in 1998, he’s thrived on getting to know his clients’ unique business situations and providing them with smart solutions to help propel their success. As a middle market specialist, he often works with companies in need of a risk management approach to insurance and loss prevention through a unique process called RiskSOURCE®. Jonathan specializes in complex liability, property, fleet management and directors and officers protection through proven and proprietary applications. It was Jonathan’s vision to develop CTIA Cares, our community outreach program.
Since its inception in 2007, he’s enjoyed lending his time and talents to many organizations especially those tied to the arts such as the May Festival, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Ballet. He is also a Founding Family of the Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty and active in their leadership. Jonathan also has a strong passion for helping other family-owned businesses grow. He’s a strong supporter of the Goering Center for Family and Private Business, which offers programs to family-owned businesses to see that they succeed.

There’s never a dull moment at the office for Amanda. She enjoys working in an industry where technology and clients’ needs are constantly evolving. At Clark-Theders, Amanda leads the organization to live out our vision and mission. She loves that her job allows her to interact with clients, helping them to become better companies or safer families. She’s also passionate about promoting the Clark-Theders company, saying, “having a team of dedicated people all working toward a common mission is a great story to tell.”
While there are many CTIA Cares projects close to Amanda’s heart, she really enjoyed the United Way’s "Spring Day of Caring," where her and her co-workers made a visible contribution helping a worthy organization clean. Outside of the office, Amanda has a wonderful husband, two amazing kids and a dog named Mizz. And when she’s not running her household or an activity at her church, she’s running just for fun.
According to Theresa, “there’s nothing quite like having a sense of family in the workplace.” She believes working for a family-owned business has brought a unique dimension to her career. Since joining our company in 1994, Theresa has been a huge part of the Clark-Theders’ family as she oversees many of the day-to-day operations, including accounting, human resources and IT.
Of all the CTIA Cares projects Theresa has participated in, CTIA Cooks was her favorite. Being able to cook with her co-workers to make meals that made so many people smile was a rewarding experience she’ll never forget. Theresa also finds it rewarding to work for a place where weekly staff meetings begin with prayer. She is truly amazed by how her co-workers come together each week to share prayer requests and praises.
To run a company that cares, you need a director of care. That’s where Mandy comes in. Her day is filled with interacting with clients, speaking with them on the phone or meeting with them in person to make sure expectations are being met. She works in conjunction with our sales and service teams to guarantee that a client’s experience from opening a policy to servicing that policy is as seamless as possible. Before joining Clark-Theders in 2003, Mandy worked in the personal lines department at Cincinnati Financial Corporation.
Out of all the community service projects she’s participated in, the Reach Out Lakota back-to-school drive has been her favorite. That’s because she remembers how exciting it was as a child starting a new year of school with brand new supplies. Mandy believes this small contribution can make a big difference in helping “kids be kids.” Education Lakota East High School, 1999
